Increasing Your B2B Sales

Sales are down, your team doesn’t have anything amazing in the pipeline to close so what’s your next move? Place an ad in your industry magazine that will only produce a hole in your pocket instead of phones ringing off the hook? Crack the whip on your already burnt out sales team that hasn’t produced in months?  Invest into an SEO/Content Marketing company that will bring all of the best of the best clients directly to your doorstep without lifting a finger (sarcasm)?  Or turn to outside help?

The latter will be the most expensive, if they are good at what they do.  You will find yourself taking to the streets of Google to search for a company or ask around if anyone knows anyone…So why choose a company like mine?  Well, we are one of the only companies on the market today that has boots on the ground experience prior to joining 5 Fold Agency.  We aren’t the cheapest nor the most expensive, but we know the most about Sales and Marketing because we lived it direct for a long time before we considered ourselves “experts”.

If you get entangled with the worst producers on the market, expect to pay a minimum of $1,500 per month and commit to 6-12 month contract.  Would you pay the $1,500 / $3,000 / $7,500 or $10,000 per month?  You’re probably thinking no way, and I’d tell you to think about how much you’re losing every month in missing revenue/profit.  Eventually you’ll want those few months back when your opinion was “no way” because now you’re in an even deeper hole.

If you are considering outside assistance in your Sales and Marketing departments choose wisely, ask lots of questions and interview the potential company.  Understand their background and drill down through everything they know about  the subject and determine if their background is a good fit with your industry…most of the time you’ll find that it’s weak.  And in the end, they will be only providing lip service and leaving actual work up to you.
