Getting Started with Our Video Content Marketing Services
The Discovery Phase
Our video marketing strategy begins as soon as our team completes the discovery phase of our project. In the discovery phase, our marketing teams take some time to learn more about our client by holding discovery meetings, evaluating any previous marketing efforts, and conducting competitor research. Once the discovery phase is completed, our teams begin strategizing their approach to marketing the client. For video, it looks something like this.
The Video Content Strategy
We create a content strategy to ensure that the video content we deliver will match with the client’s intended purpose and distribution methods. When it comes to selecting the purpose and distribution of content, some clients need more direction while others like to take a more hands-on approach. Our video content team is happy to provide all levels of direction as needed on a case by case basis.
Once the video content strategy has been polished to satisfy the client’s vision and our video team’s needs, we get started on a production sheet. The production sheet serves two purposes: one, to prepare the client for filming day, and two, to serve as a schedule for the video team to stick to. With the production sheet approved, our video team moves on to the next step- literally.
Filming Content On-Site
After the content strategy and production sheet have been approved, we coordinate with our client’s schedule to get our video team to their facility. We’ve sent our video team all over the states to serve clients from the Midwest to the coastlines. As of 2024, we’ve even gone international, flying our video team out to do a shoot in Canada. No location is too out of the way for our team- we do whatever it takes to get the winning shot.
On-site, we spend anywhere from 1-3 days shooting all of the video that we need. This includes all kinds of video content such as client interviews, manufacturing processes in action, product shots, and sometimes even customer testimonials if the client has a customer who’s available during the filming schedule.
Video Content Editing
As soon as our team touches back down in Texas, we get to work creating awesome video content from the raw footage obtained during filming. We use the best pro editing software to ensure the best final video quality and speed up the editing process. Once the editing process has been completed, we send the completed video content over to the client.
Video Approval & Content Distribution
Ideally, the video is perfect and ready to post! However, it’s fairly common for clients to request minor tweaks here and there to perfectly align the video with their vision. All feedback is good feedback, and getting familiar with our clients’ style preferences is a natural part of the learning process. Within 3-4 weeks we have the final edited video content- about 20-30 videos including full-length content and MCs- and are ready for distribution campaigns.
We distribute video content primarily through YouTube and LinkedIn. We have found these platforms to be the most popular for industrial video content, and therefore the most effective channels for garnering attention from the right audience. Our involvement doesn’t stop there; we continuously monitor the performance of each video and take notes on what to improve for the next set of content.
